The Work
Tell us about what you are currently working on.
I am a Scientist/Mom taking care of my 2 little boys at home, getting a bachelor degree in Business Administration and doing an apprenticeship in digital marketing.
I'm currently an apprentice in a consulting podcast company as a marketing operations assistant. I take care of a few projects, i.e., SEO audit, and SEO Content, I learn how to use different tools: Ahrefs, Brandoverflow, Frase.
Before
Before you learned about GrowthMentor, how did you deal with the challenges you faced?
I had no real challenges before, as I had no concrete projects, only theory/case studies from university.
The Decision
What ultimately compelled you to sign up for GrowthMentor?
Being himself a mentor and mentee, my supervisor thought that could bring value to my learning journey by talking to experts.
Inside the Platform
What's your favorite thing about GrowthMentor?
Imagine all the things you can do: talk with experts in the field, deepen your knowledge, connect and collaborate. The whole idea of GrowthMentor is amazing!
What topics have you mostly discussed with mentors?
Mostly SEO and SEO audits, Google Ads, and optimising my LinkedIn presence, since that's the apprenticeship work. I've also had calls on our landing page copy, growth strategy, and a churn-reactivation email campaign.
The Breakthrough
Is there a specific session/mentor that stands out in your mind as super helpful?
Jack Gierlich was my first mentor and somehow my first experience with the platform. I needed help at that time with Google Ads and SEO audits.
What was special was that I felt comfortable talking to Jack, he was super friendly, helpful, sharing his ideas, listening to what I had to say.
The session was great.
Later, Yasmine de Aranda gave me something like 38 ideas in 30 minutes for our growth strategy, zooming from tiny details all the way up to the mid-term plan.
The Transformation
How has GrowthMentor helped you?
With Eric Melchor, we talked about how to optimize my LinkedIn profile.
He suggested a few things like posting at least 3 times a week, and being active in others' conversations and this is what I do now.
I found a routine that fits me.
It has helped me both professionally and personally. I got more interested in digital marketing (at least, SEO content, and Analytics).
And if I can't find a solution to a problem, I know someone can help me. We can brainstorm about it.
And this is a great feeling! You're not alone in that journey!
