2. Rodrigo Aronas

Describe yourself

Hello! I’m Rod, Head of Growth & UA at Springboard. I’m a former high-school teacher, digital marketing mentor, and growth marketer! I’m leading the UA team at Springboard and I’m all about growth, diving into data, and empowering people not to only hit biz goals, but also personal goals.

In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?

I’ve been a digital marketing mentor and had mentors myself and I want to keep paying it forward, as I saw the transformational power that mentorship has.

In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?

It means to Always Be Learning. Not settling, hustling to always improve, and accepting that failure is not an option, it’s either winning or learning.

If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?

User Acquisition and Lead generation. That’s my bread and butter and many other topics relate to this one.

Describe an out of the box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself?

Problem: we were going to do our very first OOH campaign in SF but didn’t want it to be generic/normal, but to be in a way challenging.
Solution: Came up with several topics and suggesting copy that increased viewers’ engagement and our CR%s for that GEO by at least 30%.
