GrowthMentor helped me de-risk critical decisions and accelerate direction, without wasting years second-guessing

Tell us about what you are currently working on.
I currently work with B2B tech leadership teams facing growth decisions that are difficult to reverse. Most of my work focuses on diagnosing misalignment between internal strategy and how buyers actually perceive value, uncovering hidden decision friction across messaging, pricing and GTM choices. The goal is to reduce directional risk before organisations scale something that is fundamentally unclear.
Before you learned about GrowthMentor, how did you deal with the challenges you faced?
Before discovering GrowthMentor, I relied on a mix of peer exchange and self-directed development. I regularly attended industry events, engaged with other practitioners through networking, and invested in specialised courses and books to stay sharp. Most of my progress came from observing real-world patterns and pressure-testing ideas in practice.
What ultimately compelled you to sign up for GrowthMentor?
I joined GrowthMentor to stay close to real-world market challenges and exchange perspectives across industries and regions. The platform helps me sharpen strategic thinking through direct conversations with operators. I typically help solve GTM misalignment, positioning confusion, and high-risk growth decisions.
What’s your favorite thing about GrowthMentor?
My favourite thing about GrowthMentor is the help request model. It creates fast, focused interactions around real problems, rather than abstract discussions. Combined with a well-designed UX and an active Slack community, it makes knowledge exchange feel practical and immediately useful.
What topics have you mostly discussed with mentors?
Market selection & geographic focus (UK vs US), market validation, and the academic & lecturing market landscape.
Is there a specific session or mentor that stands out as super helpful?
Pablo Asensio really stood out for his ability to pressure-test market assumptions and offer an external perspective on growth direction. He created a thoughtful, grounded space where I could challenge my own thinking and explore strategic options more deeply. The session was especially valuable because it combined experience, empathy, and practical insight I’m actively building on.
How has GrowthMentor helped you?
GrowthMentor has significantly reduced the time and energy I spend navigating strategic questions. Instead of broad networking or long trial-and-error cycles, I can access targeted expertise and pressure-test very specific decisions quickly and precisely. It has become a reliable strategic support layer that helps me move faster, with more confidence.
What three adjectives would you use to describe GrowthMentor?
Problem-solver, effective, decision-enabling.
