Staff Product Designer @ Personio (ex-IonQ, BCG)
Describe yourself
I am a Staff product designer and UX researcher with 12+ years of experience creating digital products that drive user
engagement and business growth across industries, including quantum, cloud computing, e-commerce, supply chain,
energy, and blockchain. I have proven ability to lead end-to-end design processes, optimize conversion and retention, and build
tools for developers and technical teams. I have also mentored and managed more than 30 designers, hired 2 for corporate clients, and
implemented 3 design systems. In my free time, I research and write about emerging technologies and product strategies.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
Provide personalized growth practices/ recommendations purely based on my experiences and knowledge without sugar coating.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
Growth mindset means to me owning the user journey and being motivated to find ways to optimize that journey. It also means trying out different methods of optimization till we achieve the desired results. It also means understanding what growth means for your business, product, and users, and following that instead of what the industry is telling us.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Making well-informed product decisions- I love working with constraints and being creative given the constraints. I believe that improving the product means understanding the data well, such as user needs, market, business opportunities, tech possibilities, resource constraints, and working with that to find what is the best next thing we can do. I like tangible results, and that’s what I am pushing teams to get to when things are undefined. I am great at pushing for clarity, and that’s what I would like to share with others.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
Talking to stakeholders, talking to users, doing desk research if necessary, trying out the product myself, clustering research themes, making discovery sessions with the team, making hypotheses, and validating them.

Channel & Partnerships Leader | Helping B2B Tech Founders Scale Revenue Through Strategic Alliances
Describe yourself
I’ve worked across Business Development, Account Management, and Partnerships in SaaS and now Web3 for over 10 years — going from IC to leading teams and GTM strategy across EMEA. Now I lead my own advisory firm. I still remember what it’s like to figure things out without a playbook. There are always new things to figure out, and I’m here with my knowledge for the sharp questions, honest strategy, and those “can I even pull this off?” moments — because I’ve lived some of them, and I know how to turn them into movement.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
To pass on my knowledge and help someone achieve their goals, mentoring is a mutual growth opportunity and a source of fulfilment for me.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
Growth mindset means staying curious, listening more than speaking, and never assuming you know better just because you’ve been around longer. It’s the belief that ideas evolve, people surprise you, and experience doesn’t always equal expertise. It’s about showing up with openness, especially when you think you already know.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
If I could mentor someone on one thing, it would be helping them get clarity and a plan, whether it’s on their GTM strategy or their own next career move.
Because both are often messier than they seem, and both benefit from someone who can ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and help cut through the noise. I’ve navigated pivots, built strategy from scratch, and questioned everything, so I love supporting others through those same inflection points.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I start by slowing down and asking whether the problem is really what it seems. I look for patterns — past situations that feel similar — and reflect on how I reacted, what I controlled, and what I didn’t. My approach is rooted in introspection: not just solving the symptom, but understanding the dynamics beneath it, especially the ones I can influence.

Co-Founder & Advisor at Silver Lining Consulting, Ex-Marketing Leader at Meta, Dropbox and Mural
Describe yourself
With 18+ years of experience in financial services and tech, across investment banking and subsequently in Marketing, I have walked a path of utilizing both quantitative and qualitative skills to solve problems. I have been an 8+ year marketer in the tech world, across Facebook, Dropbox, and Mural, and currently consult across a range of start-ups and growth stage companies and helping solve challenging problems of how to go from 0-1, scale, and find product-market-fit to craft unique ways to customer adoption and subsequent nurture.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
I am energized about helping people to be their best selves and grow their potential, no matter if it’s personally or professionally.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
To not view obstacles and challenges as a barrier, but to see them as opportunities to learn new things and overcome them. Having a growth mindset is trying to find an alternative way to solve a problem, and achieve or overshoot the desired outcome.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Product Marketing – how to start, grow, and scale the marketing org at the right time
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
Sometimes it’s as simple as asking and speaking to others within the company. You’ll be surprised how much legacy knowledge folks in the company have at various companies and at different organizations.
Alternatively, finding the root cause of a new challenge involves figuring out whether the cause is internal or externally influenced first, before understanding what is the potential method and approach to tackle the problem.

I help non-technical founders not get screwed — I vet dev shops | review code | sanity-check the output
Describe yourself
Self-taught iOS developer that’s been at every stage of a startup (zero-to-ones, one-to-tens, and rocket ships that have come crashing down back to zero and even one rocket ship that’s still going).
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
People were incredibly gracious with me when I first got into startups, and I want to return the favor. It also seems like a great way to stay connected to the community and “network” without having to network.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
It’s not so much about being comfortable with the uncomfortable but being aware of when you are uncomfortable while still being able to find a way out of it.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Helping non-technical founders sus out technical issues.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
Work backwards by gathering facts on the specific actions that have been taken to go down the route they’re on. Actions tell you more than what someone says.

Customer Success Executive & Consultant
Describe yourself
16-year career helping companies grow revenue and keeping customers happy (happy = retention and expansion). B2B SaaS focus, helping scrappy and growing SaaS startups rebuild their Customer Success function from scratch.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
The curve from finding PMF to suddenly having a roster of customers that you or one salesperson is constantly firefighting is steep – I want to help build those post-sales muscles, which are crucial for long-term survival and growth
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
Progress over perfection. Never being satisfied.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Customer Success operations, AKA what do I do with customers once I’ve found them? If you’re in B2B SaaS, ARR is the name of the game, which means you need to not only sign up logos but you need to keep them, and then eventually get them to pay more or buy more. I’m a CS expert, both as an IC and managing a team, so I’ve seen it from the ground floor as well as from the strategic lens.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
Understanding the full spectrum of the process, where things could go wrong, and what data we have available to troubleshoot. Talk to several people to get timelines, context (e.g., code was pushed). Dive in, get organized, then create a game plan.

Lead Product Manager
Describe yourself
I’m Eve — a strategic and technically fluent product leader with over 8 years of experience. My core strength lies in building impactful 0→1 products. Currently, I lead the development of an agentic data processing system within Microsoft’s AI organization, where I am driving product transformation and scale.
I began my career at Yandex, progressing from Analyst to Lead of Data Analytics and Research, and later Growth PM—where I launched the Toloka crowdsourcing platform internationally and secured key enterprise clients. At Microsoft AI, I led the transformation of a legacy data labeling platform into an agentic data orchestration system powered by LLMs. This shift not only revitalized the product but also delivered $20M in cost savings, a 15× increase in throughput, and a 10% improvement in label quality within the first year.
I bring deep empathy for technical users and a sharp focus on intuitive UX for complex systems. My experience includes building developer-centric tools that compress iteration cycles from days to hours and enable intelligent automation through LLMs and AI agents. I’ve led cross-functional teams—PMs, engineers, analysts, and marketers—to deliver high-impact products, align strategy with business goals, and scale operations globally.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
I want to share my experience and help people with their difficulties.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
It’s about seeing challenges as learning opportunities, not as threats.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
I would mentor someone on using data to identify product problems and turn those insights into impactful solutions. I’m passionate about building products and navigating the challenges that come with them — and I’ve learned how to use data not just for reporting, but for uncovering user pain points, validating assumptions, and shaping the roadmap. My goal would be to help someone develop a product mindset grounded in evidence and focused on real user value.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I start by talking directly with the customer or stakeholder to understand their perspective. It’s essential that they not only describe the symptoms but also gain clarity on the real problem. If they’re unsure where to begin, I guide the conversation with targeted questions — exploring goals, pain points, recent changes, and expected outcomes. Together, we narrow down the focus and define the core issue. I then complement these insights with data, user feedback, and behavioral patterns to validate our assumptions and identify the root cause.

I help B2B teams fix stalled growth & unlock 10–20% hidden revenue with sharp GTM execution & growth sprints.
Describe yourself
I help B2B founders and lean teams fix broken growth strategies — from leaky funnels to confusing offers and underperforming websites. I also run a venture studio called Venture Labs, where I test and launch new businesses to help others avoid building things no one wants.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
I’ve been a customer, and I love the platform from that side. Also, I want to give back to the world what I benefited from. I’m already offering similar services on my own, so I might as well use a more powerful platform where people are already searching for the B2B and b2c growth support I provide. Plus I’m a fanboy from watching the founder, Foti, grow this from nothing to scale, and I love its mission.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
To me, a growth mindset isn’t just about optimism. It’s the ability to keep building despite setbacks, self-doubt, or external chaos. It’s when you choose to move forward even when things don’t go your way, not because you’re naive, but because you refuse to quit on what you know is possible.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
If I could mentor someone on just one thing, it’d be how to test, validate, and get an early-stage idea to market fast, before wasting time or money building the wrong thing. I love finding messy, inefficient parts of a business and turning them into lean, focused systems — whether that’s bringing a new product to market or fixing growth bottlenecks that slow ladder teams down
I feel like I’m wired to spot growth problems others overlook, but – fast – and mapping creative, practical solutions by connecting patterns others miss.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I go straight to the friction: where time is being wasted, buyers are hesitating, or teams are stuck repeating work. I don’t rely on dashboards or generic frameworks. I listen, map behavior, and pattern-match across dozens of early-stage businesses I’ve worked on. Most growth problems are actually clarity or operations problems in disguise, and I’m quick at tracing surface symptoms back to the root.
On the human level, it’s usually behind what’s being procrastinated the most. (Hidden resistance)

Fractional CMO | Growth Marketing Strategist | Brand Marketing Expert | Startup & Scale-Up Advisor
Describe yourself
I’m a senior brand advisor and growth marketing strategist with deep experience leading teams and launching campaigns that bridge entertainment, tech, and culture. I specialize in clarifying brand positioning, building go-to-market frameworks, and developing growth marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results. Today, I leverage that experience to advise founders and early-stage companies, helping them gain strategic clarity and execute with confidence to scale successfully.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
I want to help early-stage founders avoid costly marketing missteps by sharing practical, battle-tested brand and go-to-market strategies I’ve learned in my 15+ years of marketing.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
To me, a growth mindset means approaching every challenge as an opportunity to learn, adapt, and improve. It’s about staying curious, welcoming feedback, and being willing to test, iterate, and evolve even when the outcome is uncertain. It’s also the mindset I try to instill in the teams and founders I advise.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
If I could mentor someone on just one topic, it would be how to craft a clear, compelling brand story that aligns with business goals and drives growth. Founders often have vision and ambition, but struggle to translate that into messaging and strategy that resonates with customers and investors. Helping them bridge that gap is where I’ve seen the biggest unlocks happen.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
My approach starts with asking focused, open-ended questions to fully understand the context of not just what’s happening, but why it matters. I look for patterns in data, behavior, and decision-making that may reveal misalignment between goals, messaging, or execution. From there, I isolate the friction points, validate assumptions with stakeholders, and work backward to identify the root cause before proposing any solutions.

Fractional CMO | B2B Tech Marketing Leader | Start-up | Scale-up | International Expansion | AdTech |
Describe yourself
Hi, I’m James, a seasoned B2B tech marketing leader with over 20 years of experience, including the last decade spent inside start-ups and scale-ups at various stages of growth. I’ve led marketing for VC-backed businesses from seed through to successful $1B+ exits, navigated complex M&A processes, and integrated teams into both public and PE-backed companies. I’ve operated at a global CMO level, but I’ve also rolled up my sleeves to build marketing functions from scratch, from standing up international teams for US firms expanding into EMEA and APAC, to creating commercial and field marketing operations that drive real revenue impact.
I love building things, solving problems, and helping founders realise the full potential of their businesses. Whether it’s crafting a compelling go-to-market strategy, scaling demand generation, or aligning cross-functional teams around growth, I bring a blend of strategic insight and hands-on execution. Today, I run my own fractional CMO practice, supporting early-stage companies to build from the ground up or scale into new markets. I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned, the wins and the scars, to help the next generation of founders grow faster and smarter.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
I love building things and solving problems, and with over 20 years of b2b tech marketing experience, and the second half of that time in scale-ups and start-ups, I have a lot of experience and value to offer.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
To me, a growth mindset is about being open to learning, embracing challenges, and seeing setbacks as part of progress. It’s how I’ve approached every stage of my career, moving from large corporates into early-stage start-ups, building teams from the ground up, and adapting through M&A and global expansion. I believe it’s essential for both personal development and building high-performing, resilient teams.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Building a strategic and scalable marketing function
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
My approach starts with understanding the end-to-end process, where it begins, what the intended outcome is, and most importantly, what success looks like. From there, I map out the current state and identify where there are misalignments or breakdowns in driving toward that goal. I speak to the people involved across functions to get a 360-degree view, not just of what’s happening, but why. Often, the root cause isn’t where the symptoms show up, so it’s about combining process analysis with context and stakeholder insight to get to the core issue.

Bottom-of-funnel and product-led content strategist | Writer @ Softr, Vena, and Contentsquare
Describe yourself
Hi, I’m Jessica. I help B2B SaaS companies turn overlooked product and customer insights into bottom-of-funnel and product-led content that drives signups, activation, and retention.
For the past 5+ years, I’ve worked with SaaS teams like Softr, Contentsquare, Hotjar, Vena, and Foundation Inc., helping them create content that supports sales, reduces friction, and drives conversions.
After years of hands-on experience, I now enjoy helping other companies create content that empowers GTM teams and drives revenue.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
To help SaaS founders and marketers turn overlooked product and customer insights into content that drives signups and sales, especially because I know how overwhelming it feels to figure that out alone.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
Choosing progress over perfection, that’s what a growth mindset means to me. It’s also staying curious, being open to feedback, and seeing every challenge as an opportunity to learn and improve.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Turning product and customer insights into content that actually drives revenue.
Too many SaaS teams still create content without input from the people who know the customer and product best.
As brands adopt AI to scale content production, this gap has become even more detrimental to growth.
Your GTM teams hold critical insights that can turn your content into a true sales enabler.
I’ll teach you how to surface, organize, and weave those insights into your content, so you can convert more users and enable your sales team to close deals faster.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I start by asking clarifying questions to understand the full context. I listen for patterns and probe deeper with follow-up questions until we uncover the real bottleneck.
I also ask mentees to share data or specific examples upfront, so we can connect their experience to actual outcomes and identify what is truly holding them back.
Once we find the root cause, we can focus on clear, actionable next steps to fix it.

B2B Product- & Brand Marketing Consultant
Describe yourself
With experience leading five B2B marketing teams in-house, I now support startup and mid-market teams with product positioning, messaging, branding, and website optimisation. I combine the differentiation of product marketing with the distinction of brand marketing, so their products stand out and stick in buyers’ minds.
As my consultancy was born out of frustration with these topics myself, I’d love to help marketers who face challenges around these topics.
Besides working with clients one-to-one, I give workshops to groups of marketers and startup founders on these topics.
Outside of work, you find me working on abstract paintings or cycling long distances somewhere in the world..
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
I want to help young marketers navigate positioning, messaging, and branding because I turned my biggest frustration as an in-house marketing leader into my focus as an advisor, and I wish I’d had a mentor like that.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
For me, it means cultivating a positive mindset, being open to the world, ideas, and changes, and always remaining curious.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Homepage hero sections resemble the tip of the iceberg of your main product positioning (at least it should be). The hero is your most critical piece of real estate you own. The right changes here today can already show strong improvements tomorrow.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I ask targeted, open-ended questions and help founders & marketers think out loud. Together, we ask “why” as often as needed, until we uncover the root cause and can address it with clarity and confidence.

For me, the growth mindset means progress over perfection, asking better questions, and staying curious, no matter the level of experience you have. Growth mindset means lifelong learning.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
If I could mentor only on one topic, it would be helping align a founder`s vision with real-world traction. How to build a Go To Market strategy that is both emotionally resonant and commercially effective is where I bring the most value.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I ask simple but direct questions to understand the real situation. I try to understand the bigger picture, how people are feeling, and where expectations are not met. Usually, the real root cause is not where the situation looks broken, but it is a step earlier, in misalignment due to a lack of clarity.

If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
I would mentor entrepreneurs on the unique aspects of finding a product market fit, moving from development to production, and crossing the chasm between first sales and the growth phase. I believe that this is where most new ventures fail due to inexperience, and therefore, many of those failures are preventable.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
My approach is to first make sure that all decision makers disengage from ego and blame. The problem then needs to be analyzed from first principles with a data-based systemic approach.

People & Operations | People & Culture | Human Resources | Talent Acquisition
Describe yourself
Hello Hello! Tiago here 🙂
I’m an HR/People professional with 15 years of experience.
From crunching numbers in Insurance to geeking out in Tech, I’ve worked across large Corporations, cozy SMEs, and fast-paced Startups in Europe and Asia, helping people grow, projects scale, and companies thrive (or at least trying to!).
I’ve been hands-on (never afraid to get my hands dirty) and have led teams across the full HR/People journey: from talent acquisition, onboarding, and culture building to training, performance management, and beyond.
I believe you can have fun, do meaningful work, and set high standards, all while understanding the core business and being a true partner in the organization’s success.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
Share my know-how and try to help others!
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
To me, a growth mindset means believing that people can develop through effort, feedback, and learning
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Context vs Skillset
Too often, people underestimate themselves because they’re in environments that don’t recognize or leverage their strengths. I’d help them reflect on what they’re good at, what energizes them, and where those things fit. Sometimes it’s not about changing yourself (although we must improve constantly), it’s about changing where you’re standing.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I like to start by asking what’s really going on here and listening to people, patterns, and data.
We have two ears and one mouth for a reason, and I try to use them in that ratio. I avoid jumping straight into solutions.
Instead, I break the issue down, look at what’s visible and what might be beneath the surface, and consider it from different perspectives.

Founder and Fractional CMO
Describe yourself
I’m a B2B SaaS content marketing and SEO professional who works with startups and scale-ups to help them establish an organic growth engine that drives business growth, revenue, and helps them establish industry authority.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
Being an agency owner, there are only a few startups that I can realistically work with. But as a mentor, I get to share my experiences and learnings with more startups and their teams.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
Growth mindset is all about being able to adapt to changes rapidly, but strategically, while not losing sight of the starting ‘why’.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
B2B SaaS content marketing, B2B social media marketing, B2B Search Engine Optimization.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
The best way to know if your organic marketing engine is working or not is by analyzing if you’re getting the right traffic to your site – this means looking into what keywords you’re ranking for, the demographic of traffic, and the conversions you’re driving when other channels are activated alongside. If your CAC remains high despite having good organic traffic, that’s your alert!
