Help Requests Just Got a Glow Up
We’ve always loved Help Requests. They’re one of the best ways for people in GrowthMentor to connect quickly and get unstuck.
Now we’ve taken them up a notch. Instead of one-size-fits-all, Help Requests now come in six different categories, each with its own tailored questions. That means clearer asks, more relevant context, and deeper connections.

Mentorship
For when you want advice or guidance from someone who’s been there.
Examples:
- “I need advice on structuring a B2B outbound campaign, and here’s what I’ve tried so far.”
- “How do I prep my SaaS for a seed round pitch?”
- “I’ve got a churn problem and need ideas for retention strategies.”
Partnership
Perfect for finding collaborators to team up with.
Examples:
- “Looking for a co-marketing partner to cross-promote a webinar series.”
- “Interested in exploring integrations with tools in the CRM space.”
- “Seeking distribution partners in Latin America for our edtech app.”
Feedback
When you need fresh eyes and honest reactions.
Examples:
- “Can someone review my landing page and tell me if the messaging is clear?”
- “I’d love unbiased feedback on a Facebook ad before I scale it.”
- “We’re testing new onboarding emails. Which one lands better?”
Introductions
Because sometimes the right connection unlocks everything.
Examples:
- “Does anyone know a product manager at HubSpot I could speak with?”
- “Looking for intros to early-stage VCs focused on healthtech.”
- “Hoping to connect with a recruiter specializing in SaaS sales.”
Just Networking
When you’re not stuck, you just want to expand your circle.
Examples:
- “Looking to connect with other growth marketers experimenting with TikTok ads.”
- “Would love to meet other solo founders working in fintech.”
- “Anyone else in Berlin building bootstrapped SaaS? Let’s connect.”
Hiring
A simple way to find talent inside the community.
Examples:
- “Looking for a fractional CMO to help guide strategy.”
- “Need a freelance content marketer for 3 blog posts/month.”
- “Hiring a full-time remote growth lead, SaaS experience required.”
How it works
1.Choose which area your request falls under and follow the prompts that are specific to each area of help request.
2. Submit your request, and once approved, it will be distributed in our Slack group with over 3,000 members.
3. Mentors and other community members will apply to help if they feel they are a good fit, along with a short message explaining ‘why’ they are a good fit.
4. You’ll be notified of any applicants, and you can easily browse them from your dashboard. You can view their profile, start a chat to learn more, or directly book a call.
Your One-Stop Shop for Growth
No more vague asks. Every Help Request now comes with structured context — what the person has tried, who they want to meet, and what success looks like.
That means mentors and peers can jump in with laser-focused help. And it opens up a whole new layer of connection beyond traditional mentor calls.
GrowthMentor has always been about real conversations over vanity connections. With these revamped Help Requests, we’re doubling down on that promise.
Because at the core, Help Requests aren’t just a feature, they’re the engine that powers meaningful relationships on GrowthMentor.
Whether you’re looking for mentorship to get unstuck, feedback on a product, a co-marketing partner, the right intro, fresh networking energy, or even your next hire… It’s all here, in one place.
No cold LinkedIn DMs. No surface-level “connections.” Just a community of founders, marketers, and operators helping each other move forward.
That’s GrowthMentor: your one-stop shop for the advice, relationships, and support you actually need to grow.
