Do you charge sessions by the minute?
No. We never bill by the minute. Per minute billing creates the kind of anxiety we built GrowthMentor to avoid:
- "Am I going to go over my time?"
- "What's the meter at right now?"
Sessions are booked as a fixed block of time, usually a 30 minute 1:1 video call, with no timer running in the background.
Most of the mentors on the platform are free to book. Under our Give First model, mentors stay free until they've earned 3 reviews, and around 80% of mentors are free at any given time. A mentor with a track record may set their own flat rate after that, but it's still a fixed price for the session, never a per minute charge. When a mentor does charge, that money goes straight to them. We don't take a commission.
The way you get unlimited access to the mentors is a Pro membership: one flat fee, every mentor, unlimited sessions. You can see the current plans on the membership page.
