What do I do if I can't attend a session within 24 hours?
The GrowthMentor attendance policy locks rescheduling in the system 24 hours before the scheduled start time. That's there to respect both parties — last-minute changes leave mentors with dead calendar slots they can't fill.
Inside 24 hours — what to do
- Message the mentor immediately through the session chat. Explain what's happening and ask if they can accommodate a reschedule.
- If the mentor agrees, email [email protected] or use live chat — our team can manually edit the session time.
- If the mentor can't reschedule, they have the right to consider the session complete. Blocking time at short notice and losing it is unfair; the policy defaults in the mentor's favor.
Prevention
For most situations, reschedule in the system at least 24 hours out — it takes one click and doesn't require mentor approval. See how to reschedule a session.
