The Work
Tell us about what you are currently working on.
I am currently working on scaling Iroko Tv and Bettybingo.ng driving growth strategies, leading the media team, and managing a marketing budget of over $1.3M.
I am also working on building growthXsplendid, a community for women that want to transition to growth marketing.
I recently started a FREE internship where I organized 6 marketing experts to train over 20 interns and place the finalists in intern roles after 6 weeks.
growthXsplendid's mission is to have at least 100 ladies in Africa trained in the Growth Marketing space and placed in workplaces by 2022.
Before
Before you learned about GrowthMentor, how did you deal with the challenges you faced?
Youtube! Before GrowthMentor, youtube used to be my safe place to find answers to all my questions.
I also joined marketing communities and took a lot of courses online.
The Decision
What ultimately compelled you to sign up for GrowthMentor?
Actually, I have been looking for a community where I can get to speak to experts about work so when I saw a post about GrowthMentor, I did not need any other conviction that this is exactly what I have been looking for!
I registered and paid immediately.

What's your favorite thing about GrowthMentor?
The mentors!
The fact that the mentors follow up after sessions is amazing!
What topics have you mostly discussed with mentors?
Mostly growth for the mobile apps I was scaling, things like user acquisition, scaling our Google Ads spend, attribution and tracking, and retention. A few sessions were also about the team side, how to actually lead a remote growth team day to day.
The Breakthrough
Is there a specific session/mentor that stands out in your mind as super helpful?
My session with Sunni Sukumar is my favorite one.
It stood out for me majorly because I went into the problem detail, got a direction and knew the next steps to take.
Lynn Patchett was also brilliant on scaling our Google Ads, which matters a lot when you're running a budget this size.

My session on scaling mobile app acquisition helped me out a lot in my current job.
Personally, it gives me a sense of belonging.
