Need help? Send us a note.
The new help button sends your message to Foti and Jessica, and our reply comes straight to your inbox.
Jessica and I decided we didn’t want to offer live chat anymore, there's honestly not anything ever that pressing that requires instant attention anymore. And since we’re in different time zones, we end up covering most of the world with very little dead time anyway. Replying by email gives us room to look into things and get back to people without the pressure of keeping a chat window constantly covered.
Tldr; getting rid of live chat has been a major quality of life upgrade for us with zero downside. We also ended up saving €115 a month that we were paying for Crisp (great tool, but all good things come to an end). Cost? Two hours of my time to build a small support tool inside GrowthMentor.
You’ll now find a “Need help?” button with our photos in the bottom-left corner. Write us a note about what’s happening, press Send, and we’ll reply to the email on your account. You’ll also get a copy of your message, which you can reply to if you remember something else.
A message, without the extra fields.
When you’re signed in, we already know who you are and where to reply. The panel shows that email address before you send. There’s no name field or support category to work through.
Use it when a session looks wrong, your calendar isn’t behaving, a charge needs checking, or you’re unsure how something works. Tell us what you were trying to do and what happened instead, even if you can only explain it in a sentence or two. We can ask for anything else we need when we reply.
You can close the tab.
After you send, the panel confirms where we’ll reply and shows your message back to you. You also get an email called “We got your message”, with a copy of what you wrote.
Remember another detail afterward? Reply to that email to add it. The conversation continues in your inbox, so you can get on with your day.
A little more context on our side.
Your note reaches our support inbox with the page you wrote from and your account details. We can also look back at earlier messages you sent through this button. That gives us a starting point when we look into the problem.
Jessica and I read these ourselves. The new button makes it clearer who you’re writing to and where our answer will arrive.
