Finding mentors

What if I just have a quick question?

1 min read Updated recently

For genuinely quick questions — things a 30-minute call would be overkill for — you have a few options.

Ask the community in Slack

Post in #ask-the-community in our private Slack. You'll often get three or four answers from different perspectives within a few hours. Best for: opinion questions, tool recommendations, pattern-matching ("has anyone seen X before?"), sanity checks.

Message a mentor directly

Use the Message Me button on a mentor's profile. Best for: specific follow-up questions, checking fit before booking. See how to message a mentor.

Book a 15-minute session

If your question needs a real conversation but not a full 30 minutes, many mentors offer 15-minute slots. See how to pick a session length.
