Three ways to find a mentor on GrowthMentor

1 min read Updated recently

There are three ways to find a mentor on GrowthMentor. Most members use a mix of all three.

1. AI matching (fastest)

Answer a few questions about what you're working on and what you need help with. Our AI surfaces the three best-fit mentors for your specific challenge, with an explanation of why each was picked. This is the fastest path from "I have a problem" to "I'm booking a call." See how AI matching works.

2. Browse and filter

Want to scroll through every mentor yourself? On the top right of the menu select Browse all Mentors. This brings up the full list of active mentors. Use the filters on the left to narrow it down to the right person:

  • Skill or expertise (what you want help with)
  • Industry
  • Tools and software
  • Language
  • Availability and session length

Open any profile to read their background, reviews, and what they help with. When you find a fit, click Book session straight from their profile. Good for when you have a specific mentor in mind or want to compare several before deciding.

3. Post a Help Request

Post what you need help with and let mentors apply to you. Useful when your problem is niche, when you want multiple perspectives, or when you'd rather have mentors self-select than shortlist yourself. See how to post a Help Request.

Which one should I use?

  • Not sure who's right? Start with AI matching.
  • Know exactly what you want? Browse and filter.
  • Niche problem or want options? Help Request.

All three are included with your Pro membership: one flat fee, every mentor, unlimited 1:1 sessions. Once you pick a mentor, see how to schedule a session.
