Feedback and feature requests
Feedback has one home: the feedback page. Four short forms, and what you write goes straight to Foti and Jessica.
The four types
- Feature request, for something you wish GrowthMentor did. It asks what you were trying to do before it asks for the idea.
- Bug report, for something broken. It picks up the page you came from and your browser by itself, so you do not have to describe either.
- Couldn't find a mentor, for expertise you searched for and did not find. We use these to decide who to recruit next.
- General feedback, for anything else.
Mentors see the third one as "Mentees ask me for…". Same question from the other side of the call: what do mentees ask you for that we do not offer?
What happens after you send
Both founders see it the minute you send it. You get an email back that quotes what you wrote, so you have a copy and a thread to add to. Reply to that email if you think of something else.
We read every one. We cannot build every one. If we do build it, you will see it on the platform.
What makes a feature request useful
Start with the situation, not the solution. "I wanted to book the same mentor again and had to search for her from scratch" tells us more than "add a rebook button", because it leaves us free to find a better answer than the one you had in mind.
The form asks in that order on purpose. What you were trying to do comes first and is required. What would help comes second and is optional.
Where to find it
Your dashboard has a "Something missing? Tell us" link. You can also go straight to growthmentor.com/feedback, or open one type directly: feature request, bug report, couldn't find a mentor, general feedback. You need to be signed in.
When to use support instead
Feedback is not a ticket queue. Nobody is waiting to answer it. If you need a reply, for billing, a refund, a session that went wrong, or anything urgent, see how to contact support.
