Rescheduling at short notice
To avoid last minute changes, reschedules via the platform are not possible. Of course things do come up and people need to reschedule at short notice.
Message the other person in the session chat
If you can’t make it to a scheduled session, message the other person right away. The #1 priority is to let the know so they can plan accordingly.
There are a few ways to go in this case:
Admin Reschedule (preferred)
Admin can edit any session info, so message us on live chat, dm Michelle or Jessica via Slack or send an email to [email protected] and ask to have the session switched to ‘Reschedule’ mode. This way the mentee can reschedule via the platform and everything is on record.
Via the session chat you agree on a new time amongst yourselves*. You can leave the session as is the mentee can leave the review after you complete the call. This method is great if you are moving it within 24 hours or even just pushing it back a bit.
*Please include your time zone when suggesting a time as we are a global community.
Combo of the above
You can agree on a new time amongst yourselves (even via your own calendar) and then send the new time to support and we can edit the session to show the correct time in the system so it is official and both parties are accountable.
