Over 10+ years at Booking.com, Google, and Apple, I have advised leaders through geopolitical disruption, macroeconomic uncertainty, regulatory change, security challenges, and major operational and reputational crises. I have built intelligence, risk, security and resilience capabilities, led crisis responses, and helped organisations work across business units to take coherent actions when most required. I mentor professionals on how to anticipate the legislative, geopolitical and macroeconomic challenges facing global businesses and share practical experience and guidance on building the processes, frameworks, training, business continuity plans, and decision making approaches needed to prepare organisations before disruption occurs and respond effectively when it does. My focus is helping you become a stronger strategic operator: able to understand external threats, assess business impact, advise decision-makers and boards, respond to crises, and build resilient organisations capable of operating through uncertainty.

My career has been anything but conventional, from academia into Apple, Google and Booking.com to build global intelligence and crisis management capabilities and advise executives, usually during times of crisis. I enjoy helping people navigate career pivots, interviews, leadership roles and finding opportunities that aren't always obvious on paper! There's a whole world of roles out there that aren't so well known about!
Leadership
I've built multidisciplinary teams from scratch, coached managers and specialists, and advised senior executives during high-pressure events including COVID-19 (our crisis management response was covered in the New York Times!), inter-state conflicts and major geopolitical, macroeconomic and regulatory developments. My mentoring focuses on helping people make better decisions, build confidence and be the go to person when the crisis (inevitably) hits.
Operations
I've built and led global operations supporting intelligence, crisis management, investigations, executive advisory and operational resilience across Booking.com, Google and Apple. My work has included preparing organisations for pandemics, inter-state conflict, geopolitical disruption, regulatory change and reputational crises, then leading cross-functional responses when those events unfolded.
Remote work
Most of my career has involved leading people and programmes spread across dozens of countries. Whether coordinating crisis responses across multiple continents, running global exercises or building teams that rarely met in person, I've learned how to create alignment without relying on everyone being in the same room (or timezone, or continent)!
