Bio

I've been the first marketing hire three times, at Massive Bio, Hive, and Notable Systems, and took those three startups to more than $100M in combined ARR. Before that I spent eight years at Amazon, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Today I'm VP of Marketing at Notable, where a five-person team runs on AI agents. I've been mentoring here since the start of 2025: 140+ sessions so far. Book a session if you're stuck on one of these: 1. Positioning and messaging. Customers don't get what you do, the website says everything and nothing, or you're about to reposition. I'll show you how I pull positioning out of sales and customer calls instead of a workshop. 2. Demand generation and pipeline. No pipeline, or pipeline that's all founder network. Which channels to pick at your stage, events and whether they pay back, ABM, SEO and content, lifecycle and nurture. 3. Paid ads. Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta. CAC too high, ROAS that died after day three, or whether to run paid at all yet. I've managed up to $3M a month and I'll tell you when to stop. 4. Website and conversion. Landing pages, CRO, lead-to-SQL conversion, A/B testing that is actually measuring something. 5. Your first marketing hire. What to hire for first, agency versus in-house, how to interview, and what to expect in the first quarter. I've built four marketing teams from zero. 6. Sales and marketing alignment. RevOps, HubSpot or Salesforce setup, MEDDPICC and BANT, SLAs between the teams, pipeline reviews that don't turn into blame. 7. AI for marketing teams. Agents, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, MCP, what's working in my team day to day and what's hype. 8. Go-to-market for a new product. Pricing and packaging, product-led versus sales-led, launch plans, press for a funding round. 9. If you're a marketer, not a founder: getting hired as a first marketing lead, building the case for a VP or CMO role, or running your own job search. How sessions go: bring your numbers, your website, and one campaign. I'll ask a lot of questions in the first ten minutes and then give you two or three things to do this week. I don't promise a set-and-forget pipeline, with or without AI. Nobody can. Industries I know from the inside: B2B SaaS, healthcare and health tech, e-commerce and marketplaces, logistics. Stages pre-seed to Series C. Markets: US and Europe. If your problem needs more than one session, message me and we'll figure out the right shape.

Expertise

  • Artificial intelligence

At Notable, the marketing team runs on AI agents built with Claude and connected through MCP to HubSpot, Notion, Fathom, and Asana: competitive intelligence daily, call themes routed to the right owner, reporting and production drafts. New-feature positioning went from months to weeks. I can show you what to automate first and what to keep human.

  • Branding

Led a full brand refresh and Webflow rebuild at Notable as part of a repositioning, and built Hive's brand from scratch out of customer and prospect interviews. Brand for me starts with the positioning and the proof, then the visuals. I'll help you brief a designer so the first round lands.

  • Building a team

Built four marketing and revenue teams from zero: a four-person RevOps team at LinkedIn, marketing to 12 and a combined sales and marketing org to 50+ at Massive Bio, 0 to 12 at Hive, and a five-person team at Notable with zero mis-hires. What to hire first, agency versus in-house, and how to interview.

  • Community building

Found an overlooked persona at Massive Bio, patient caregivers, and built a 30,000-member community in six months on Reddit, Facebook groups, and clinician-led webinars. It became a major pipeline source. Community works when it serves the members first; I'll help you decide if yours should exist.

  • Content marketing

Content tied to pipeline, not volume: an SEO-led redesign at Massive Bio grew organic traffic 600% and pipeline 500% in six months, and at Notable a weekly product education series gets repurposed into content and sales enablement. I'll show you how to pick the ten pages worth writing.

  • Conversion rate optimisation

Ran the Hive website as a product with continuous A/B testing: lead-to-SQL conversion went from 2.4% to 10%, worth $10M+ in pipeline. At Massive Bio, regional landing pages with local testimonials lifted conversion 20%. Bring a page with traffic and no leads and we'll find out why.

  • Demand generation

Built the demand engine from zero three times. Marketing sourced 80% of pipeline at Hive and most of it at Notable, across paid, SEO, events, webinars, ABM, and partners. I'll help you pick the two channels that fit your stage and tell you which ones to skip for now.

  • Email marketing

Lifecycle and nurture programs at Hive, built on one CRM of record with lifecycle instrumentation and product-usage segmentation. Expansion ABM and lifecycle together lifted LTV 140%. I'll help you set up the three automated emails that matter before you build fifty.

  • Go to market strategy

Built the go-to-market from zero at Massive Bio, Hive, and Notable, across product-led and sales-led motions, and took Hive into six European markets and the US with one positioning system and local flexibility. Bring your ICP and pricing and we'll pressure-test the plan.

  • Growth marketing

Peak growth of 200% quarter over quarter at 4:1 LTV to CAC at Hive, from paid, website CRO, lifecycle, and ABM working together. At Massive Bio, funnel re-engineering cut the sales cycle 52% and almost quadrupled conversion. Growth is a system, not a hack; I'll help you see yours.

  • Influencer Marketing

Ran podcast and influencer programs at Massive Bio that cut cost per lead 48% and lifted ROAS 127%, by partnering with clinicians and patient advocates instead of generic creators. It works when the influencer already has your buyer's trust; I'll help you find those people.

  • Leadership

CMO, Chief Growth Officer, and VP of Marketing across three startups. $70M in budgets managed, with board and CEO reporting on pipeline coverage, CAC payback, and marketing-sourced revenue. I still do the hands-on work. Ask me about managing up, running a small team, and what to report.

  • Marketing automation

HubSpot as the CRM of record at Hive and Notable: lifecycle stages, attribution, nurture, and sales flashcards. At Notable the automation layer is AI agents filing tasks and routing call themes to owners. I'll help you automate the right things in the right order, and skip the rest.

  • PPC strategies

Managed up to $3M a month in paid media at Hive: Google 55%, LinkedIn 20%, programmatic 15%, plus Reddit and sponsorships. A PPC optimization framework cut CAC 65%. I'll audit your account in the session and tell you if paid is even the right move at your stage.

  • Personal branding

It’s about showcasing expertise through content, storytelling, and measurable results. Whether it's crafting SEO-friendly websites, building a distinct brand voice, or scaling startups, the approach is always data-driven, strategic, and user-centric.

  • Product launches

Three product launches at Notable in a year, including splitting one platform into three products buyers already named, plus a brand refresh that lifted pipeline 20%. Launch calendar, feature pipeline, messaging pillars, enablement. I'll help you plan a launch a five-person team can ship.

  • Product management

Collaborated closely and consistently with product and tech teams to ensure alignment and drive successful product launches and iterative improvements.

  • Product market fit

Every positioning I've written started with customer and prospect interviews. At Hive those surfaced the real buying trigger, a three-to-nine-month inventory procurement cycle, which became a homepage calculator and millions in pipeline. I'll help you find the trigger your buyers already have.

  • Product marketing

Positioning, messaging, and personas for three startups, written from recorded sales and customer calls. At Notable, a repositioning cut deal cycles by more than half. I think every marketer should be a product marketer first; bring your current messaging and we'll rewrite it together.

  • Revops

Built and led a four-person RevOps team at LinkedIn and put MEDDPICC and BANT into deal flow and the CRM: pipeline velocity up 30%, close rates up 15%, ACV up 12%. At Massive Bio, AEs worked marketing inbound only, with no SDRs. Ask me about the handoff, SLAs, and pipeline reviews.

  • SEO

An SEO-led website redesign at Massive Bio grew organic traffic 600% and pipeline 500% in six months, and at Notable I run SEO and AEO together so the site shows up in AI answers too. Bring your domain and we'll find the ten pages that will move pipeline, not just traffic.

  • Sales

Hit 135%, 120%, and 170% of quota in three years at Facebook, then ran Sales and Marketing together as Chief Growth Officer at Massive Bio, growing the combined team to 50+. I know what sales needs from marketing because I carried a number. Ask me about alignment and enablement.

  • Social media

At Meta, managed strategic accounts with YoY revenue growth. Leveraged platforms like LinkedIn for lead generation, social selling and customer mapping at Massive Bio. Built engagement frameworks, podcasts, and influencer marketing strategies that drove CPL down and boosted ROAS.

  • Technology and tools

Leveraging platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Mixpanel for CRM and analytics, optimizing campaigns with SEMrush and Google Ads, and streamlining workflows with tools like Notion and Trello has been vital. For SEO, Ahrefs and Google Search Console were key. Attribution models using Funnel.io and dashboards in Tableau ensured data-driven decisions, while tools like Drift and Clearbit, 6Sense and Zoominfo enhanced sales enablement.

Toolkit

  • Figma logo

    Figma

Brand refresh, creative review, and ad variant production with designers. I don't design; I give direction and I know what to ask for. I'll help you brief a designer or a freelancer so you get it right the first time.

  • Miro logo

    Miro

Positioning workshops, funnel mapping, and customer journey maps with sales and product in the room. I use it to make the handoffs between marketing and sales visible, which is usually where the leak is.

  • Reddit Ads logo

    Reddit Ads

Tested at Hive as a cheap awareness channel for niche communities. It works for reach and for seeding a conversation, and it's bad for direct response. I'll help you decide if your audience actually lives there.

  • Softr logo

    Softr

Internal tools and partner portals built on top of Airtable without engineering: a partner kit library, an events tracker, a simple customer portal. Fast to ship, and fine until you outgrow it. I'll tell you when that is.

  • Sprout Social logo

    Sprout Social

Social scheduling and listening at Hive across LinkedIn and Instagram, plus the polls and community posts that fed product marketing. Useful for listening; don't expect it to generate B2B pipeline on its own.

  • User Interviews logo

    User Interviews

Recruiting customers and prospects for the interviews every positioning I've written starts with. I'll show you the interview script, how many conversations are enough, and how to turn transcripts into messaging.

  • Webflow logo

    Webflow

Rebuilt the Notable website in it as part of the repositioning and brand refresh. Website as a product, shipped weekly, no developer in the loop. I can help you decide between Webflow, WordPress, and Framer for your stage.

  • Wynter logo

    Wynter

Message testing with real B2B buyers before a repositioning goes live. We used it to check that the new positioning landed with the actual buying committee, not just with us. Cheap insurance before a relaunch.

  • HubSpot logo

    HubSpot

CRM of record at Hive and Notable: lifecycle stages, attribution, nurture, sales enablement flashcards, and the MCP hook our AI agents use. I'll help you set it up so sales trusts the data and marketing can report revenue.

  • Notion logo

    Notion

Positioning docs, messaging frameworks, competitive intelligence, and the research library our agents read from. The single place the company goes to find what we say and why. I'll share the structure.

  • Salesforce logo

    Salesforce

Enterprise CRM work at LinkedIn and Massive Bio: MEDDPICC and BANT fields in the deal flow, pipeline hygiene, and reporting that lifted pipeline velocity 30%. I can help you decide if you need it yet or if HubSpot is enough.

  • Claude logo

    Claude

My daily driver. Positioning drafts, call-transcript analysis, and the agents behind our competitive intelligence and weekly reporting all run on it. I'll show you the prompts and the guardrails that keep it honest.

  • Claude Code logo

    Claude Code

Built our marketing agents and the MCP connections into HubSpot, Notion, Fathom, and Asana with it, without an engineer. Happy to walk through how a non-technical marketing team can do the same in a few weeks.

  • ChatGPT logo

    ChatGPT

Second opinion on messaging, quick market research, and first drafts of creative variants. I run the same prompt through ChatGPT and Claude when the decision matters, and compare where they disagree.

  • Gemini logo

    Gemini

Long-document research, video and webinar summaries, and competitor site reviews. Good at reading a lot at once. I use it alongside Claude and ChatGPT rather than instead of them, and can show you where each one wins.

  • Clay logo

    Clay

Account and contact enrichment for ABM lists, with AI columns that research and qualify accounts before anything reaches the CRM or sales. Bring your ICP and I'll show you how to build the first table.

  • Lovable logo

    Lovable

Landing pages, calculators, and internal tool prototypes without waiting on engineering. Useful for testing an offer or a message in days instead of a sprint. I'll show you what to prototype and what not to.

  • Replit logo

    Replit

Small internal tools and scripts for marketing ops: data cleanup, reporting glue, quick integrations between tools that don't talk to each other. The cheap way to stop doing a weekly task by hand.

  • Cursor logo

    Cursor

Records and transcribes every sales and customer call. The transcripts are the raw material for positioning, objection handling, and the agent pipeline that routes call themes into HubSpot, Notion, and Asana.

  • Gong logo

    Gong

Call intelligence at scale: objections, competitor mentions, pricing pushback, and what buyers actually say versus what sales says they say. I used it to rebuild messaging and to coach sales on qualification.

  • Google Ads logo

    Google Ads

Managed up to $3M a month across Hive and Notable, mostly search. Built the PPC audit framework that cut CAC 65%. Bring your account and I'll tell you where the money is leaking and whether paid is right for your stage.

  • LinkedIn Ads logo

    LinkedIn Ads

Core B2B channel at Hive and Notable for ABM targeting, lead gen forms, and weekly creative testing. I know what it costs per qualified lead in SaaS and healthcare, and when it's too expensive for a seed-stage budget.

  • Meta Ads logo

    Meta Ads

Ran it at Hive and Massive Bio, and sold it for three years at Facebook, so I know what the auction rewards and why campaigns die after day three. Good for community and retargeting, rarely for enterprise B2B.

  • ZoomInfo logo

    ZoomInfo

Account and contact data for outbound sequences and ABM lists, paired with Clay for enrichment. I can show you how to keep list quality high so sales stops complaining about bad leads and marketing stops getting blamed.

  • Outreach logo

    Outreach

Sales sequences and follow-up cadences for the inbound-only sales motion at Massive Bio and for sales follow-up at Hive. The handoff from marketing lead to first touch is where most pipeline dies; this is where we fixed it.

  • Amazon Ads logo

    Amazon Ads

Marketplace advertising from the seller side, built on three years of product marketing at Amazon's DACH marketplace. Useful if you sell physical products and need to decide between brand and performance spend.

  • Semrush logo

    Semrush

Keyword research, competitor gap analysis, and site audits for the SEO redesigns at Massive Bio and Hive, which grew organic traffic 600% in six months. Bring your domain and I'll show you where the quick wins are.

  • Ahrefs logo

    Ahrefs

Backlink audits, content gap analysis, and keyword difficulty checks. The second opinion to Semrush when I'm deciding which pages are worth building. I'll show you how to pick ten pages instead of a hundred.

  • WordPress logo

    WordPress

Ran the Hive and Massive Bio sites on it, including the SEO redesign and the regional landing pages with local testimonials that lifted conversion 20%. Good for content-heavy sites, slower for a weekly shipping cadence.

  • Optimizely logo

    Optimizely

A/B testing on the Hive website when it ran as a product. Continuous tests on headlines, forms, and proof moved lead-to-SQL conversion from 2.4% to 10%. I'll show you what to test first and what is noise.

  • Google Analytics logo

    Google Analytics

GA4 events and funnels wired to CRM outcomes rather than traffic for its own sake. I set it up so marketing reports on pipeline and revenue, not sessions. I'll help you define the five events that matter.

  • Mixpanel logo

    Mixpanel

Product usage segmentation for lifecycle campaigns and PLG onboarding at Hive: who activated, who stalled, who is ready for expansion. The bridge between product data and the marketing automation that acts on it.

  • Tableau logo

    Tableau

Board and CEO reporting across three startups: pipeline coverage, CAC payback, LTV to CAC, and marketing-sourced revenue. I'll show you the five charts a board actually reads and how to build them.

  • Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) logo

    Looker Studio (Google Data Studio)

Weekly marketing dashboards pulling Google Ads, GA4, and HubSpot into one view the whole team reads. Free, good enough for most startups, and I'll share the layout I use so you don't start from a blank page.

  • Asana logo

    Asana

The marketing operating system at Notable. Every program has an owner and success criteria in it, and our agents file tasks into it from call themes. I'll show you a planning cadence a five-person team can keep.

  • Airtable logo

    Airtable

Lightweight CRM, content calendars, and event tracking before a company is ready for HubSpot. I'll show you what to track in the first year and when it's time to move to a real CRM, and what to migrate.

Industries

  • SaaS

Three VC-backed B2B SaaS startups as the first marketing hire, scaled to more than $100M in combined ARR across product-led and sales-led motions. Positioning, demand generation, paid, ABM, and the first marketing team are what I'm asked about most.

  • Health Care

Notable Systems (AI for healthcare revenue cycle management) and Massive Bio (clinical-trial matching for cancer patients). I know the buying committees, the compliance limits on marketing, and how long enterprise healthcare deals take.

  • Artificial Intelligence

Marketing an AI product to enterprise buyers who have heard every AI promise, and running the marketing team itself on AI agents with Claude, ChatGPT, and MCP. Happy to cover either side: selling AI, or working with it day to day.

  • E-Commerce

Hive sells warehouse management and fulfillment to e-commerce brands, so I spent four years marketing to DTC founders and operators. Before that, three years at Amazon on the seller marketplace in DACH. I know both sides of the checkout.

  • Marketplace

Amazon's seller marketplace from the inside: seller enablement, compliance marketing, and account-based programs that grew revenue 29% a year. Useful if you run a marketplace and need the supply side to show up, or if you sell on one.

  • Logistics

Four years as CMO at Hive, a fulfillment and logistics platform for e-commerce brands, taking it from $1M to $60M ARR across six European markets and the US. I know how operators buy logistics and what they ignore in the pitch.

  • Biotechnology

Massive Bio: AI clinical-trial matching for cancer patients, sold to biopharma and hospitals. Grew ARR from $0.5M to $30M. I know patient and caregiver communities, oncologist partnerships, and what regulated marketing allows.

  • Advertising

Three years selling advertising at Facebook to enterprise and SMB accounts, plus two years in revenue operations at LinkedIn. I know how the platforms think, how media gets sold, and what agencies do well and badly.

  • B2B

Enterprise and mid-market B2B across healthcare, logistics, and SaaS: positioning for buying committees, ABM, events, sales enablement, and the marketing-to-sales handoff. Three startups past $100M in combined ARR, mostly sales-led. I know how long B2B deals take and how to shorten them.

  • B2C

Product-led growth for patients and caregivers at Massive Bio: a 30,000-member community, Reddit AMAs, Facebook groups, regional landing pages, and podcast and influencer programs that cut cost per lead 48%. Plus three years inside Facebook's ad platform. If you sell to consumers, I know the channels and what they cost.
