Bio

I'm a CTO/founder with 15+ years of experience in SaaS startups/scaleups. I can help you translate business needs to tangible product & technical outcomes. I've had all the typical problems, and worked through most of them. You want to move faster, but also improve quality. You want to hire amazing people on a tight budget. You're looking for that mythical product-market fit. Cofounder communication is stressful, you share common goals but won't always align on how to get there. Hiring is hard, and you're not always sure if there's a real fit. I can help you with these, and many other, similar problems. If you're a startup or scaleup, and you have any of these issues, I'd love to pitch in!

Expertise

  • Building a team

If you're building a tech team in Europe, I can help you figure out what sort of people you need to hire, and help you look for them. Most importantly, I can tell you what key qualifiers are, how to test for them, what pitfalls to avoid, and how to be economical about it! I can also help you figure out (remote) culture, and people management if you're looking for an enabling/supporting management style.

  • Leadership

Leadership is an incredibly broad topic, ranging from strategy to communication, from process to execution. I can help you lubricate the gears, reduce gaps between departments, build the right culture, and set the right course through various techniques -- but in the end, it typically boils down to transparency, alignment, process, and accountability. Happy to help!

  • Product management

I have been building and maintaining SaaS platforms for startups for over 15 years. As an engineer, a product owner, and a founder, and a CTO. From market to problem, to solution, to implementation, to rollout, to analytics, measurement, advocacy. Product management has no secrets for me :)

  • Remote work

I've been working remotely and building remote/hybrid teams since before Covid. When covid hit, I built a platform specifically to help remote teams, which was later acquired by Kumospace. I can help you work in a trust-but-verify driven process that will mix lots of freedom with the right level of accountability.

  • Technology and tools

I have an education and background as a software developer, which allows me to understand technical limitations, and how to circumvent them. I speak the language of the tech team, as well as the business - and can fluently translate between the two.

Full time from 2023, moved to fractional in 2026 as the engineering org matured. Still owning technology strategy, architecture, and (AI) roadmap.

  • Kosy
