These days, what keeps me engaged is pushing the envelope to do content marketing that grows brands, not just keywords on page 1. I've also built websites, run ads, and written tons of copy. I'm excited to talk shop with other growing marketers, providing the clarity I can based on my experience.

  • Forest Cliff Camp

    Summer Leadership Staff

Long before I had a marketing title, this is where I learned the fundamentals. How to lead a group of people. How to communicate clearly when 200 campers need to be fed on time. What it feels like to be fully responsible for someone else's experience, including 24/7 1:1 support for campers with special needs. Ten years later, it still shows up in how I work with teams. Three summers at camp: first as a counsellor, then running meal-time operations, then leading the Service and Leadership Training program for teens.

  • Forest Cliff Camp

    Food Service Manager

Assigned the youth in the Service and Leadership Training (SALT) program roles during meal times. It was the first experience I had in small-scale Project Management as it required me to oversee and delegate tasks to the 'SALTeens' to ensure that each meal ran smoothly and all the campers were well fed and had a pleasant experience while in the dinning hall.

  • Forest Cliff Camp

    Camp Counselor/ 1:1 Support Counsellor

    • 1:1 Support Counsellor (Reach for the Rainbow Org.) Managed one special needs camper 24/7 for a full week (twice/summer). • Supervised 10-12 campers weekly as well as overseeing one activity station each afternoon (8 weeks).
