Konstantin is one of the most knowledgeable people I have met on Growthmentor. He understands running the business and what it needs to grow.

HongjuLee

Absolutely knowledgeable, super patient! Highly recommended. I would definitely advise you request to record the session, though. Mr. Vallioti packs a lot of knowledge in (to make it as useful for you as possible), and you'll definitely need to be able to go back over the session.

JC McMurray

You can see that Konstantin knows what he is talking about. With the little context we were able to give him in the short time frame, he was able to give some valuable advice. Great chat, and I will come back to chat again, as we stayed high level.

Bio

I'm a CPO who builds AI products and the product orgs that ship them. At MEDvidi I led all things AI, from internal AI transformation to agentic AI and evals. Now I'm building an AI co-worker and a generative AI product at SplitMetrics. Before that, I led product-led growth at PandaDoc and platform products at VK. I can help you with: - AI product management: agents, evals, and getting AI products from demo to dependable - AI transformation: changing how your team works, not just adding tools - Product-led growth: activation, onboarding, freemium and trials, monetisation - Product strategy and product-market fit - Building and leading product teams, from first PM hire to CPO

Expertise

  • Building a team

I'm currently leading a team of 6 PMs working on Growth initiatives, and before that I led a cross-functional team (PMs, PAs, UXRs - 10 in total). Building a team is both about strategy, people management, and stakeholder management for me.

  • Idea validation

My work as a startup advisor and as a GPM for growth initiatives made me seek ways to validate ideas and hypotheses fast - both with engineering and no engineering effort.

  • Mindset coaching

This is something that is not typical for me to mentor people about, but I have enjoyed working on my mindset (and helping friends) from early years at the university. At that time I thought that the key to growth is how you approach problems, how you think and what you think of yourself.

  • Product analytics

Product analytics should unlock better decision-making for you, plain and simple. I enjoy discussing metrics, and every topic to making better decisions based on data you get from your users.

  • Product management

We really overcomplicate many aspects of product management, trying to fit frameworks that don't actually fit, getting wrangled in decisions that do not matter, following hardline methodologies. Product management really is more about general problem solving rather than an obscure system of following different methodologies.

  • Product market fit

Most of my experience in product-market fit is based on the work I did for startups, either as an employee or as an advisor (lately). Seeking product-market fit is simple, but not easy. I think most startups make it harder for themselves to find a PMF than it should be.

  • User research

I've been lucky enough to get coaching on that area early in my career, and was immediately in love - from discovery to quantifying criteria for buying decisions. User research is relegated to 'getting insights', 'getting input', and is not thought of as a holistic way to get better at making decisions - the only thing that matters. Time to change that.

Toolkit

  • Amplitude logo

    Amplitude

Amplitude will cover the ground for most of your needs in terms of product and growth analysis, and it now has so many different reports that it might be hard to navigate amplitude and understand how to both structure information that you put into it and get insights out.

Industries

  • SaaS

My experience in SaaS is strongly connected to my overall experience with B2B products, and I understand working on SaaS both from traditional product management perspective as well as from product-led growth perspective. Unlocking growth for early-stage SaaS is typically not only profitable, but plainly fun.

  • B2B

B2B is the industry I have most experience in, both from traditional product management perspective as well as from product-led growth perspective. I've worked through the whole product lifecycle both as a individual contributor and as a people manager, and experimented significantly with such products.

  • Consumer Applications

I've been working on a multiple B2C products, including 100M MAU social network and a few startups I've been advising. The experience between B2C and B2B made me realize that the skills are completely transferable, and while the tactics are different, they have the same roots.

  • Education

EdTech is not only an industry that I have experience in, but also something I love. While the recent trends in EdTech are not exactly bridging the gap between people in different classes, there is so much value to be unlocked still. Growing EdTech while keeping the quality bar high is a tall order, but it can be done.

  • Marketing Automation

With background in digital marketing, later work on customer engagement platform as a PM, and experience with product-led growth, I have synthesized multiple perspectives onto cohesive understanding into working on MarTech.

  • Artificial Intelligence

    - Building three AI product streams at MEDvidi - Side projects, such as AI public speaking coach - Responsible for internal AI transformation at MEDvidi

Experience

  • SplitMetrics

    Chief Product Officer

I own product, design and product marketing, growing the core business while launching new products from zero to one. Leading Acquire, our ASA platform; Iris, our AI co-worker for UA managers and its evals; App Radar, our ASO platform. I also lead the launch of a generative platform for ad creatives, built on agents and image and video models.

  • MEDvidi

VP of Product, Engineering, and AI
    β€’medvidi.com

I led product, engineering, data, AI, design and research, and owned product strategy. Grew the company 3x in ARR. I also led all things AI: the company's internal AI transformation, Clinical AI for clinicians, and an agentic AI Receptionist for patients. I built the AI evals practice from scratch and turned it into a continuous quality improvement loop for every AI product. On the product side, I transformed the product org to run on PRDs, OKRs, design crits, etc., to increase execution speed and quality. Together with a director of product design, we've built an internal framework focused on driving user behaviour through product-led mechanisms.

  • PandaDoc

    Director of Product, Growth

As a Director of Product, I was responsible for the product-led growth strategy across multiple domains: trial activation and onboarding, our free eSign offering, product-led sales funnel generation, multiple new product introductions (such as a standalone PDF App) and other funnels PandaDoc has. I led a team of five product managers that worked with five full-stack engineering teams. I hired, managed, and coached the product team.

    B2B
  • VK.com

    Group Product Manager, Ecosystem
    β€’vk.com

I led platform products at one of Europe's largest social networks: a unified login across VK and partner products, the Marusia voice assistant, and Sferum, an EdTech platform for schools. Led a team of 4 product managers, 2 UX researchers, and 3 product analysts.

  • Infobip

Product Manager - Moments (Customer Engagement Platform)
    β€’infobip.com

I built and launched Moments, a customer engagement and marketing automation product, leading several engineering teams. I shipped behaviour-based automated campaigns, a JS SDK for event tracking, A/B testing for messages, frequency capping and send-time optimisation, plus event segmentation and funnel analytics. I ran the value-discovery research that set the product's positioning, value proposition, pricing and packaging. I also ran early access across regions, aligned teams through cross-functional OKRs, and trained Sales and Customer Success on site.

  • Glamy

    Product Manager - B2C, Web&Mobile
    β€’glamy.ru

I launched Glamy's web version and rebuilt the mobile ordering flow, both of which grew GMV. Interviews with people using competing platforms showed where our value proposition fell short. I also set up product analytics for the mobile app, designed a peer-to-peer payments flow, and simplified the admin workflow in the internal CRM.

  • eLama

Product Manager - Agencies & Accounts
    β€’elama.ru

I owned eLama's agency segment. I redesigned the agency partner programme to keep it profitable while improving the agency interface, which drove revenue growth in the segment. I analysed agency profitability in SQL to decide where to change the programme, and designed a referral programme.

  • Pokeroff

    Digital Marketing Manager
    β€’pokeroff.ru

I built landing pages and optimised them through a steady A/B testing programme, and ran user surveys that shaped new product offers. I owned the email strategy (trigger and promotional campaigns), ran paid social as an experimentation workflow, and managed SEO, link-building and partner promotions. I also wrote hundreds of articles and op-eds.
