I joined Mini Exchange to work closely with the CEO and take over platform development from external company. Mini Exchange, has shown unprecedented growth within the last year. Thanks to the implementation of new technologies, integration with other stores' warehouses and automation of company process we have scaled up from offering 500 items on the site to over 30 000 at the beginning of 2016. Main responsibilities are: - Managing all project activities starting from creating project scope and budgeting, through development and quality assurance to delivery and reports. - Managing the IT team, being first line of their support, setting out guidelines and procedures to improve their work, making sure that work on concurrent projects is in accordance to the schedule and is delivered on time. - As a Lead Developer I am also responsible for delivering good quality code, managing servers infrastructure, handling security threats, establishing backup procedures and strategies to follow in case of emergencies, managing communication between different departments to make sure that IT projects are in line with company priorities. - For big projects my main responsibility is dividing work into small manageable tasks which could be evenly distributed within the development team and will be delivered with no conflicts and on time. - Analyzing company processes and continuous exploration of new technologies to find ways to optimize work within and between departments. - Building successful development team, recruiting candidates, preparing technical tests and assessing their skills.
